Ross,

Time to implement our new clock in and out method.

BO is ready for barcode clock in and out.

I need you to roll this out and implement this.

here are some steps you will need to take:

1. print the barcode for each persons ID on paper - NIgel can give you all teh barcodes

2. everyone ID card need to stick the barcode on one side - so that security guys can scan it.

3. setup security guys with the barcode scanner and show them how to use it

4. future ID cards will need to ensure the barcode is already printed on teh barcode.

I suggest you set a DEADLINE for yourself, for when this becomes effective. and within that deadline you ensure the steps required are implemented.

I have discussed with Nigel and Steve and they mentioned that BO is currently on a test server. This needs to be moved to a live server first. We then need to have some training on this new system and finally we can then start adding the employees and print the barcodes.

I have advised Steve the liaise with Nigel and get the system ready. I am planning to move to this new system from 1st February if things goes well.
