Logistics team is a weak time, which is fine, but we need to create some simple systems and processes to help us ensure they are keeping up with their duties fully and sincerely.
an example of this is teh Task Sheet for Kukon and Karim. i told kukon to delegate this to his security guys as well, and write he assigns his guys onto the task sheet.
there are few other things that need to be better structured.
FOR EXAMPLE... Toilet Cleaning.... there needs to be a set routine for this....and we need a simple MONITORING of this....
how do other companies monitor toilet maintenance? they have a reporting card/page that need to be signed every time the toilet is cleaned.
How does it work effectively? well if any management questions the toilet cleaning and teh staff says he /she did it... management can check that sheet to see if the cleaner really did come to do it or not.
OR... management can check this anyteim to see if teh sheet is being signed or not. if its not being signed tehn most definitely the toilet is not being cleaned.
using this example you will realise there are many other things WITHIN Logistics that can be structured like this... for example.... Computer CLeaning Maintenance, End of day Checking of Servers, etc.
implementing a simple reporting method could make people more serious and accountable as they are more concious that they are being monitored, therfore becoming more accountable.
Im leavig this as a ongoing parent task that will have SUB TASKS for each of the things we come up with... lets start discussing already.
i have added a sub task for the LAPTOP CLEANING reporting sheet already which you need to implement with Kukon.

<p>this should be a fixed routine, e.g. minimum 1 time per week. with a set date and time. as you know these guys need to be given specific details. if you say "do it anytime during the week" - it means it will never get done.</p>

Cleaning laptops/desks is the only routine work they currently do.
Ross any other logistics routines you can think of that we shouls sytemise in a detailed checklist format.... what otehr areas are these guys not keeping up with?
when a peon joins we will need a schedlefor the peon.. e.g when to clean toilets, when to do this and that...
