could you look into this again for me please see what solution you can come up with.

wehther tis international minutes from dubai sim, another voip provider, local voip provider, our pbx, softphone etc.

Hello Rob,

The most cost effective way would be buy a Dubai number from multitel,orbtalk or voiptalk and configure it on our pbx. This way we can make calls from our office with sip phones and call cost will be local rate.

However i talked to multitel and voiptalk and also checked few other voip number providers. Most of them do not provide Dubai number mostly because of strict rule and regulations of UAE government. I learneed that telecommunication rule is very strict in UAE.

However Multitel did provide UAE toll free number only. Details are below

Setup: $150

Monthly: $150

Per minute: $0.2

LOI (Letter of Intent) + forecast of minutes/month + business registration copy are required for number activation.

If we make calls from our existing UK/US numbers to Dubai numbers then call cost will be

Etisalat network - $0.2063/minute
Du network - $0.2105/minute
Rest of mobile networks - $0.1991

Call costs are almost same from orbtalk, voiptalk too.

Regarding your query about local voip provider, its almost extinct mate because now a days people talk over whatsapp,imo etc.
