This has been a fear of mine for a long time -that is not all web developers understand the right way to do coding. the right techniques, principles, structure etc.

as scott will inform you recently we found a horrific case of where Mac did the same code 8 times in fm club site. so now that needs to be re strctured which is extra waste of time.

so we need to solve this isse for ONGOING work - whether we have 1 web developer or 10, everyone needs to follow the right techinques and standards.

this means we need 2 things:

1. we need to test a developers UNDERSTANDING of coding practices by doing a test (adding a test on exam function by HR)
2. writing a coding standards guide which outlines our coding rules - which mostly scott and oscar can do for you - and you just need to review, edit, structure the doucments properly. i will also review this document to imporve.
