Hello Fred,
Here are some more tips for you to write email professionally. Also find attached for details guideline.
- Always format all the text you wrote before sending using the format button. Make it as a habit. See the screenshot below.
- Use paragraph on your mail.
- Check your subject line carefully.
- Do not use any other color except RED, BLUE and of course BLACK.
- All the font size should be same.
- You can use BOLD/UNDERLINE/HIGHLIGHT option but never change the standard size of font which is 11 or 12.
- Font style should be same as well.
- Check twice your mail before sending
- Check twice TO, BCC and CC option before sending.
- If you are sending any attachment, try to attach it first then write your mail.
- Avoid writing multiple issues on a single mail. Each mail should be for a single topic.
- If you want a reply from receiver, then you should write something like this on bottom part, “I look forward to hearing from you”, “ please let me know your feedback” etc….
- If you are sending any most important mail to someone you can mark this mail as HIGH IMPORTANT. See screenshot.
- If you want to receive a notification about if the person you sent the email has received / read your mail or not then you can mark these option too - see on 2nd screenshot.
