here's a "value adding admin task". admin tasks are usually not value adding, but this sort of admin resaerch/knowledge can have good value if applied correctly.
Could you find our top 10 competitors in the indian sub-continent.
the obvious competitors is www.virtualemployee.com.
our ocmpetitors are not large outsouricng companies that have more than 2000 staff. they are on a different league that is equivalent to CONSULTANCY.
for each competitor learn their rates for the job roles that we offer, e.g VA, web developer, data entry etc.

What is the objective of this? to check where we are against the market.
What is the final action after this research? to decide if we need to adjust our pricing, and if so by how much for each job category.

These are quite broad keywords, was expecting something long tail, narrower.
I was using these:
virtual assistant
virtual employee
outsource to india
business process outsourcing
virtual staff
it doesnt have ot be in indian region only- some phillipines companies are direct competitors as well, so we need a mix of companies.

I need at least 5 well ranked keywords we have to filter out useless search results. and find the real competitor.
The search result i am getting by guesing the keywords wasting my time here. ended up getting all the listicles/recommendation/SEO articles rather than real companies.
