Tina,

 

I am using TM more and more, on WM.

 

And I want to see all management level people using TM for almost every kind of task assigned day by day.

 

As a result of using TM, I have many tasks that people are overdue on.

 

HR needs to handle this and ENSURE people are maintaining their deadlines. And chase them on overdue tasks.

The aim of this is to have HR ensure PRODUCTIVITY in the office.

 

So think about how you will handle this, organise this and setup a procedure to ensuring this. let me know your plan.

    first of all, my fault is i didn't inform you that i cannot see outdated task list and person. i informed oscar about this weeks ago, he is trying to fix that he said. 

     

    i did meeting with them yesterday, they dont have any better sugegstion for me except what i suggested already. 

    1. checking up physically 

    2. sending a reminder for the pending/outdated task 

    also, the task dashboard needs to be more represented in a more easy manner, its now quite hard to understand. same statement i heard from other managers. 

    for now, we will have to go through all the tasks one by one to check which reached the deadline or pending and will send reminder mail as the system is not doing that automatically.

    and what is the update on this? what plan did you come up with.

     

    109 days over... thats 1/3 of a year. this is mad.

     

    i can see a pattern here tina... constantly failure on deadlines.

    and i am sure my deadlines are not unreasonable most of the time.

    you need to have a meeting to discuss some ideas on this.

     

    very soon this "outstanding task" issue is going to become a huge problem unless we tackle this now.

    this is a brainstorming task for me. the most usual way is to send a reminder email, but this will be done by the system as you said. so right now I can only think of 2 steps-

    1. demanding daily task update

    2. checking up physically the progress  

     

    is there anything more appropriate you have to suggest?

    all user will automatically receive a reminder if the task deadline is less than 3 days. he will receive this email daily. have you received any? if not you need to speak to nigel about this as he implmented this reminder code.

    but despite this people still falling behind. this is why HR need to manual intercept.

     

    so bsaically you just need to see what tasks are due each day, and which tasks are overdue and do "somethign about it" -meaning give pressure.

     

    now that is th what i want to know how will you give pressure, whats the plan ....need to have some kind of PROCCEDURE for creating pressure so that people stop breaching deadlines.

     

    a company will never be good if people dont manage deadlines.

     

    a great copmany always ensure deadlines are acehived. we need to get to Great level.

    the deadline for this task is today, but i have not even heard back from you on this at all.

    so whats your plan?
