Introducing Supervisor | Effective from 15th March 2019

Dear All,
I am happy to inform you that the time has come to introduce our new position in management- “Supervisor” To manage teams.
This position has been designed to replace Team Leader position that we removed recently.
Apparently it’s similar to the TL role though but has less authority as well as responsibility than TLs.
The key responsibilities of a Supervisor are as below
• Monitoring cleanliness of his team member, keep note.
• Keep over break record of team member.
• keep attendance record of team member
• Co-ordinate cover for absences if applicable.
• Keep overtime work record of team member if applicable
• Send weekly summary of all the above to Shift Supervisor
• Solve issues in liaison with Shift supervisor
• Help shift supervisors in enforcing policies
• Perform any other (adhoc) duties as assigned by Management.
In addition to the above, Supervisors are expected to share Team insight with Management, strength/weakness of any team member or any other issue s/he may feel needs management attention.
• Send team insight report to shift supervisor, weekly.
Supervisors will work closely with Shift Supervisors and AGM though but equally accountable to GM/Head of HR/IT Department.

An email will be sent to you informing which team you belong and who is your supervisor.
From March 15th, they will be assisting Management by taking away a few administrative tasks as described above, and will be your first point of contact during the shift.
I hope you all will co operate with your supervisors like you did earlier with your TLs.
