As you are aware, employees who have completed six months of continuous service with the company are eligible for permanent employment status. Based on our recent hiring activity, a number of employees are approaching this milestone within the next 1-1.5 months. A list of these employees is attached for your reference.

The transition to permanent employment will necessitate several considerations:

  • Notice Period: Pursuant to labor regulations, permanent employees are subject to a mandatory notice period of three months or three months' basic salary in lieu thereof.
  • Escrow Fund Deductions: The implementation of the company's escrow fund program will result in a slight reduction in the take-home salary of permanent employees.
  • Medical Insurance Benefits: Permanent employees will be eligible for company-sponsored medical insurance coverage.

To ensure a smooth and equitable transition for these employees, I think we need to address the following:

  1. Salary Adjustments: Evaluate the potential impact of escrow fund deductions on employee take-home pay. Otherwise, the permanent staff will receive less amount than the permanent staff
  2. Weekdays: According to our contractual agreement, employees are signed to work up to 6 days/week. So, do we need to make it the same for the permanent staff?
  3. Communication Plan: Develop a clear and concise communication plan to inform affected employees of their upcoming permanent status. This communication should include details regarding the escrow fund, notice period, medical insurance benefits, and any applicable salary adjustments.

I kindly request your input and suggestions on the most effective approach to address these considerations to ensure a smooth transition from contractual to permanent contract that is beneficial for our company as well.

Allen : Similar calibar like Reece. A little shy. But serious about his job, very punctual. As i observe All EST guys via CCTV i dont see him gossiping with others. His communication is good. Both written and verbally. I would suggest to offer him Permanent contract.

Allen should be included in the list, as he is also close to completing five months. @Steve, could you please share your thoughts on him?

Sorry guys somehow i missed this. Here are my comments
Reece : Nice guy.Humble. Lives near office building. He is always up for new task, challenge. Always ready to cover any shift. He is quick learner. I would suggest to keep him.
Derek : Similar to Reece. A quiet person. A bit slow. A slow learner. Dont see him as a VA in near future.
Aaron : Best performer in Anthony. He was also very good in Pi project. Catches thing very quickly. ALso have leadership quality. He is already a VA material
Karl : Performence wise he is very good. But his recent activity makes him unreliable.
Michael : 2nd best after Aaron. Very fast, catches things quickly. Apply his own thoughts, do not work like a robot. If he was not involved in the recent incedent i would have suggest him to make him VA and EST supervisor.

On this note, if we want to remove Michael and Karl permanently, we need to do it before they complete 6 months. Daniel, when is the current contract ending for these two? I assume we had a 3 months contract?

Drew - he is a senior person who is older than me. An interesting person who has failed in many businesses after returning from the UK. Very polite and humble, doesn't possess many skills, only suitable for DA role within a team. However, he is a nice person. I don't mind giving him a permanent contract.

Phil - he has the potential to become a VA in the future, recently got married, and desperately needs to job. He also mentioned to me that he wants to build a long career with us. I think it will be fine to offer him a permanent contract and in the future try him on a VA role. He is also a semi-tech person similar to Allen.

Ralph: Ralph is a loyal guy. He worked on Pi team along with VMG. It is true he has a lack of skill, but he is a dedicated guy.

Tammy: Recently, we move her to Daniel’s client. Soon she will become a VA. She is the only girl who worked on GMT shift without any transport facility.

Spencer: Spence is working on Vicktor team now. His performance is good. I don’t think he will leave this job soon.

Mick: Mick is a very dedicated guy. He has only a physical issue. He can’t speak fluently. He can be a VA.

Seth: Seth’s performance is very well in pi team. We are not sure about this guy. He can leave Staff India.

HI Daniel, thanks for starting this discussion, glad you realised this on time and starting to discuss on time.

so to begin wtih, we need to evaluation qualitatively regarding each person in teh list.

Meaning.. id like all respective managers of the staff to give a little input on each person in the list as to "what they think of the staff... sttrong? weak? no skill? can become VA? loyalty? sincereity? attendance issue? reliability issue? etc

This will help us understand who deserves a permanent contract and who can be released, or temporary contract extended.
