Hi Guys,

 

As discussed in our latest meeting, we want to discuss how we can stop spreading negativity in the office. We have seen that some people spread negativity in the office, impacting other people, specifically newcomers. Some people do this deliberately while some do this due to a misunderstanding with something. 

 

As manager, we want to stop this negativity in the office so please share your ideas on what we can do to achieve this. 

A few things that I think we can do to improve this are:

- Keeping regular communication with the employees. If an employee feels that the management is not talking to them, they will feel isolated and will start to think about negative things. 

- Show appreciation and recognition to the employees when they deserve it.

- Creating a positive culture

- Promote open communications to role out any misunderstanding.

I have shared the kfollowing strategies with Rob in other task but I think these also may help us to stop spreading the negtivity. 

 

  1. Foster employee relationships: Assign a dedicated person to build rapport with employees and gather insights.
  2. Conduct regular check-ins: Implement quarterly meetings to discuss work ethics, professionalism, and other relevant topics.
  3. Encourage open communication: Promote a culture where employees feel comfortable sharing concerns and complaints with management or HR.
  4. Recognize positive behavior: Acknowledge and reward employees who demonstrate exemplary work ethics and professionalism.

We can use a Google Form to collect monthly feedback on employee work-related issues. Each manager can collect this feedback. If employees can directly share their opinions with management, issues can be resolved more efficiently

We used to do monthly meeting with our team members. Somehow its not happening. I think we should do monthly meeting with all team members, ask them about their work, if they are facing any issues etc.
